Michael P. Vogel, Ed.D. of Montana State University brings us this incredibly informative document of different ways to logistically handle all your yard composting needs.
I feel like I'm in college with all this referencing.
So why compost?
According to Vogel, "Yard wastes make up about 20 percent of the solid waste that ends up in our landfills. It includes leaves, brush, grass clippings and other organic materials. Composting is one way to reduce waste accumulation. It is low in cost, easy to manage and produces a useful product."
Hell yeah, I'll be growing some fat tomatoes plants with that compost, and eat them with salt. I will wash them first. Anyway, cool growing medium.
